Crafting Studio

I am trying to be better at marketing, so that means writing more often. I just up and moved to Mesa, AZ, and the first room unpacked and looking good is my crafting studio. I had about the same size room before, but this one has a better layout. My dad left the huge desk for me, so it will be a fun addition to have a massive sewing desk.

I love having a cutting table in the center of the room. It makes so many projects so much easier. Note the tea... I almost always have a cup of hot tea when I craft (yes, even when it is 80 outside)

Evidence of my tea drinking/// I actually decided to set up an electric kettle and tea making station in my craft studio so I wouldn't have to leave as often and wouldn't forget the kettle on the stove as often. Note as well the lovely Rarity painting my friend, Jade, made me for Christmas last year.  I think even rarity would love my sewing space.

Another new addition is the huge cork board. I am hoping that it will help me to keep my projects organized.

Now off to sew. I want to make a kimono and hakama before tomorrow at 12pm. Let's see if I can get it done. I may not post again until Monday as I am going camping this weekend.
